Tamarindo Surf Report

In this second week of June, 2023 we are seeing medium period south southwest swell under patchy, sunny skies in the morning hours followed by light showers in the afternoon. Rainy season appears to making its first inroads. Stay tuned. MP

Our real estate market continues see more additions of new inventory coming to market. We are witnessing price reductions across the board. Entry level condos with seaside locations and high end prime locations are holding their own. Quality properties at realistic valuations continue to sell quite readily. Many lesser quality properties and inferior locations remain still very much overpriced and are lagging. We expect many of these to continue to drop in price into the near term and beyond.  Building lots appear to be overpriced in the aggregate given falling liquidity while those with AAA grade locations are and will continue to hold up very well. Up-to-date water letters are vital, and construction material costs remain relatively stable. Underlying organic demand experienced during the pandemic still continues in earnst today given the world´s current chaotic state of affairs. Costa Rica still remains a relatively safe and sane investment bet for the long term. We are currently doing some serious cherry-picking of AAA grade, deep-value properties for our clientele and actuating their plans B, and C, etc.....
